Experience Oaxaca like never before!

Etnofood has created and launched the #GoOaxacaExperience campaign. The name refers to the historical pronunciation of Oaxaca, in the Nahuatl name, transformed into Oaxaca, phonetically pronounced "Guajaca" or in English, "Gooahaca." Hence the wordplay.

By using the name #GoOaxaca, we use English words to encourage visitors to correctly pronounce the name of our beautiful city.

From walking to the market and then experiencing all the flavors and food there – it was great. Our guide was discreet and very knowledgeable. They really helped curate a fun experience.

I love flavorful food and I'm not afraid to try new things, so this was perfect!

Testimonials

Dimas, AU

The experience was incredible! Our instructor was so kind and patient. They taught us many techniques and let us create our own ideas and designs while supporting our vision of what we wanted to do so that it turned out amazing. They are very helpful, and it was a really fun experience! It was great to leave it to dry and come back for our stamp and posters a few hours later once it was ready.

Allison, UK

It was a really fun experience. Visiting the market to buy our ingredients, preparing them, understanding the different components, and of course, tasting them. A great opportunity to meet other travelers and exchange stories.
